AYUP was born from a vision to harness the potential of young people, giving them the tools to overcome poverty and build sustainable futures. In its first year, it has laid a strong foundation—forming committees nationwide and forging connections with local youth to understand their needs. As an associate of AUP, AYUP complements our broader efforts, like microfinance and education, by focusing exclusively on the next generation, yet it charts its own course with full independence. This unique structure allows AYUP to respond flexibly to the diverse challenges faced by youth across urban slums, rural villages, and everywhere in between.

Looking forward, AYUP has ambitious plans to drive youth development. We aim to roll out vocational training programs, teaching practical skills such as carpentry, sewing, and basic mechanics to equip young people for employment or entrepreneurship. Youth leadership forums are on the horizon, designed to inspire confidence, foster teamwork, and encourage civic engagement among participants. Additionally, we plan to introduce seed funding initiatives—small grants to help motivated youth launch ventures like tailoring shops or poultry farms—sparking economic independence and community growth. These efforts will empower young individuals to not only support themselves but also contribute meaningfully to Bangladesh’s development.

Consider a young person in a remote village or a bustling city—AYUP reaches them all, offering hope and opportunity where it’s needed most. As an independent partner of AUP, AYUP is poised to grow, building on its first year to create a nationwide network of empowered youth ready to lead tomorrow.
